Every vessel, whether commercial or recreational, should have a first aid kit on board. First aid is critical to survival, whether its a small cut sustained while fishing, or something more serious like a head injury falling overboard or a shark attack. Many marine first aid kits come in floating cases, so even during an emergency situation, the kit can be located in the water.
