Got unit back very quickly with checklist enclosed. It was shipped securely, which was good, as the box took a hit in transit. Self test works. I am impressed with the response.

This process was so easy. I paid, was given a shipping label, packaged my PLB (using a repurposed Amazon box), and put it in a USPS mailbox. About a week and a bit later, it came back, battery replaced, with a full report of the testing and status.

After getting no response from 2 other companies on ACR's battery replacement list I emailed SurvivalAtSea. Greg replied quickly and gave all the info I needed to send my beacon in for service. Whole process was about a week and am happy I found these guys. Thank you!

Very pleased with the cost of battery replacement service for my ACR PLB. Turnaround was reasonable and quick. Communication was great as they kept me informed as to receiving my PLB, when replacement was complete, and when it was shipped back. A bargain at half the expense of a new one. I highly recommend them.
