Includes Cradle and Hydrostatic Release. The Elliot USCG approved coastal liferaft has been specifically designed for commercial inshore vessels to meet United States Coast Guard regulations. Constructed to offer the utmost in safety, these liferafts are manufactured to the same standards as Survitec's SOLAS-approved liferafts making the raft virtually impervious to wear and tear.

Elliot commercial coastal liferafts benefit from high frequency welding and polyurethane proofed nylon fabric material to produce a higher quality, longer lasting liferaft than those produced from rubber-based fabrics with glued seams. In addition to USCG approval, some products in all brands are also TC-approved. All our coastal liferafts offer double buoyancy chambers, manufactured from a specially formulated polyurethane (PU) proofed nylon fabric, which is highly resistant to abrasion and impervious to corrosion in the marine environment. Liferafts come packed in containers with hydrostatic release unit (HRU) assembly, lashing and cradle for U.S. product only. Coastal liferafts of all sizes may be packed in either a streamlined low profile container or a lightweight, durable valise which makes it easy to launch the liferaft overboard.

Liferafts are shipped via HazMat ground carrier.  Liferafts that weigh under 70 lbs (with packaging) will typically ship via UPS or FedEx ground service.  Rafts weighing over 70 lbs must be shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight truck (tractor trailer) due to hazardous shipping regulations.  Shipping rates for LTL freight vary greatly between residentail and commercial addresses, so it's very important that you select your correct address type at checkout.  An eligible commercial address will either have a loading dock or forklift on site to unload the shipment when it arrives.  If your address does not have a loading dock or forklift, you MUST select residential delivery.  When residential delivery is selected, the trucking company will be prepared to unload the shipment at a non-commercial location (such as your house) and will normally send a truck with a liftgate for unloading.  Liferafts that ship via freight truck will be packaged in a lage box and strapped to a wooden pallet.
